形態特徵

Parasitic shrubs, slender or rather stout.
Leaves subopposite, coriaceous, ovate to obovate-oblong, 4.5–5 cm long, 2–2.5 cm borad; apex obtuse to rounded, base cuneate; petioles 3 mm long.
Flowers in dense pedunculate or sessile fascicles; bracts triangular, 1.6 mm long, 1 mm broad; calyx tube 2 mm long; corolla tube 2 mm long, thinly pubescent outside; anthers 4 mm long; style filiform.
The anthers of isotype are less than 4 mm long, which is in conflict with the original description. This may cause confusion with T. theifer. However, the population at Litungshan and Chuyunshan are not only larger than T. theifer in leaves, flowers and fruits, but also have ferruginous-tomentose vegetative buds.
